Charleston Coffee Drinkers…

I was at Dell’z Deli when they were getting an order in of Caribrew Cold Press Coffee bottles. The coffee is locally made. It is currently being sold at Queen Street Grocery, Dell’z Deli, Normandy Farm, the Irish Gerry Omelette God Farmers Market at $5 a bottle.

The guy delivering the coffee told me about it…He said “Caribrew Cold Press Coffee is made using ancient Peruvian brewing methods that extract the essence of the coffee bean with a 2/3 reduction of acid, and a doubling of caffeine. This method retains all those wonderful aromas that are evaporated with a traditional brewing method and keeps them in the coffee for a dynamic experience. Hints of cherry, chocolate, and caramel swirling around on the palate make for a great way to start the day or keep the day going!”

Their mission statement is…”Caribrew is dedicated to keeping in tune with Pan. The Brewing itself uses NO energy, we are also Rainforest Alliance certified. A percentage of all sales goes back into our own local waterways via the Charleston Water Keeper.”
